STUDIO WORKINTEGRATIONS

Connect the systems you already have, so information moves on its own.

Most businesses run on several good tools that do not talk to each other. Integrations connect them — so an order, a form or a payment in one system updates the others automatically.

OVERVIEW

What an integration is.

An integration is a reliable connection between systems. When something happens in one — a new customer, a paid invoice, a submitted form — the right information is passed to the others, in the right format, without anyone re-typing it.

Good integrations are invisible when they work and obvious when they do not: they log what they did, retry when a system is unavailable, and tell someone when they need attention.

WHEN IT FITS

You might need this when…

  • Someone copies data from one system to another every day
  • Customer, order or finance records disagree between systems
  • Reports need data pulled from several places by hand
  • Website forms land in an inbox instead of your CRM
  • You are adding a new tool and need it to fit with the rest
  • An existing connection is unreliable and nobody knows when it fails

WHAT IT INVOLVES

What it typically includes.

  • MAPPING

    Data mapping

Which system owns which information, and how fields translate between them.

  • APIS

    API connections

Connections built on each system’s official interface wherever one exists.

  • EVENTS

    Event handling

Changes passed on as they happen, or on a schedule where that suits better.

  • RELIABILITY

    Retries and logging

Failed transfers retried, everything logged, problems reported.

  • SECURITY

    Secure credentials

Keys and access handled securely, with the minimum permissions needed.

  • MONITOR

    Monitoring

A simple view of what has run, what has failed and what needs a person.

HOW IT COMES TOGETHER

Start with the problem. Build the right thing.

  1. 01

    UNDERSTAND

The systems involved, what each one owns, and where data goes wrong today.

  2. 02

    DESIGN

The flows, the mappings and what should happen when something fails.

  3. 03

    BUILD

Integrations built against test accounts first, never live data.

  4. 04

    REFINE

Run in parallel and reconciled before they are switched on for real.

GOOD TO KNOW

How Studio projects work.

Every Studio project is scoped and quoted individually, once we understand what is needed.

Scope, timings, ownership, hosting and any ongoing support are agreed in writing before work begins.

If a ready-made product or a tool you already own is the better answer, we will say so.
