What we collect, why we collect it, and what we will never do with it.
What we collect
When you buy a product we receive your email address and order details from our payment processor. We do not receive or store your card details at any point.
If you subscribe to the newsletter we store the email address you give us, and nothing else.
Why we collect it
To deliver what you bought, to send product updates for products you own, and to answer you when you contact support.
We do not sell, rent or share your details with third parties for marketing.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe under their own privacy terms and never reach our systems.
ISO 27001 Companion (online service)
If you use the ISO 27001 Companion, an optional subscription for customers of the ISO 27001 Transformation System, we hold your sign-in account (email address; your password is managed by our hosting provider’s identity service and never stored by us), your subscription status from Stripe, and your workspace: journey progress, actions, reviews, recent questions and any documents you upload, with the text extracted from them.
Why: to provide the service you subscribed to — to show your progress, search and review your documents against the Transformation System, and answer your questions. Your documents are stored privately on Netlify, our hosting provider, linked to your account; they are not published or indexed. When you ask a question or run a review, relevant excerpts are sent to our AI model provider (Anthropic, through Netlify’s AI Gateway) to produce the answer. We do not use your documents to train AI models.
You can delete any document, or your whole workspace, at any time from within the Companion, and export a copy of your workspace. To close your sign-in account, email support@digitalchrysalis.com. Avoid uploading personal data you do not need to.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will action it.
Newsletter emails carry an unsubscribe link in every message.
