How access works
Two things, kept separate.
- Own the ISO 27001 Transformation System — the £399 downloadable product and its licence.
- Create your Companion account with the same email address and verify it.
- Add Companion access for £19.99/month. Both are needed; the subscription alone does not unlock the Companion.
- Cancel whenever you like. The Companion stays available to the end of the paid period, and the downloadable product is never affected.

Questions
Before you start
Do I need the ISO 27001 Transformation System?
Yes. The Companion is available to customers of the ISO 27001 Transformation System, and works from that product. Create your Companion account with the email address you bought it with; if you used a different address, you can link the purchase with your order reference.
Is the downloadable product affected if I cancel?
No. The Transformation System is a one-off purchase with its own licence and stays yours. The Companion is a separate online service: cancel any time and it remains available until the end of the period you have paid for.
Will it tell me I am compliant or ready for certification?
No. Certification is decided only by an independent, accredited certification body on the evidence it sees. The Companion identifies potential gaps and incomplete evidence and tracks your progress through the journey; it does not certify, audit or give a compliance opinion, and it never gives compliance percentages.
Where are my documents stored, and who can see them?
In private storage on Netlify, Digital Chrysalis's hosting provider, linked to your account and never on a public URL. Only you can open them through your signed-in account. When you ask a question or run a review, relevant excerpts are sent to the AI model provider (Anthropic, via Netlify AI Gateway) to produce the answer. Digital Chrysalis does not use your documents to train AI models. You can delete any document, or your whole workspace, at any time.
What is the AI behind it?
Your ISO Companion uses a large language model from Anthropic, instructed to work from the Transformation System and your own documents, and to label which is which. Where the material does not answer a question, it says so.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
From the Account page, Manage billing opens Stripe's secure customer portal, where you can update your card, download invoices or cancel.
The ISO 27001 Companion does not provide certification, an audit or a compliance opinion. Digital Chrysalis is not affiliated with or endorsed by ISO, IEC or any certification or accreditation body. ISO/IEC 27001 is published by ISO and IEC; you need your own licensed copy of the standard.
